ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ,ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರೆ

- 17ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡುವ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಾಜಕರ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
- 18ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ,ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರೆ
- 19ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಚಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಹೀಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಬೇಕು.
- 20ಉಳಿದವರು ಕೇಳಿ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಆ ಕೆಟ್ಟಕೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕರುಣಿಸಬಾರದು; ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾಣ, ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣು, ಹಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹಲ್ಲು, ಕೈಗೆ ಕೈ, ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಕಾಲು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.
