ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುವ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡುವ ನೋಟದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ--ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಸಂಜೆ ಆಗ ಬೇಕು ಅನ್ನುವಿ. ಸಂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ--ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಆಗಬೇಕು ಅನ್ನುವಿ.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನು--ನೀನು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನೋಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದ ಹಡಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಸ ರಾಗಿಯೂ ದಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾರಲ್ಪಡುವಿರಿ. ಆದರೆ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವ ನೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

Ninna hrudayadalli aaguva hedarikeya nimittavoo ninna kannugalu noduva notada nimittavoo munjaaneyalli--ayyo, sanje aaga beku annuvi. Sanjeyalli--ayyo, munjaane aagabeku annuvi.idallade kartanu--neenu innu mele noduvadillavendu naanu helida maargadinda hadagugalalli ninnannu aiguptyakke tirigi baramaaduvenu; alli daasa raagiyoo daasigalaagiyoo nimma shatrugalige maaralpaduviri. King James Version (KJV): In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
