ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗಾದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೂ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಕೊಡುವ ವರೆಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವರೆಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು; ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಬಹುದು ಎಂಬದು.

King James Version (KJV): Until the LORD have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and [until] they also possess the land which the LORD your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and [then] shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.

18ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥ ರಾಗಿರುವ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಆಯುಧ ಧರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಹಾದುಹೋಗಬೇಕು.

21ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾ ಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಅರಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಗಳು ನೋಡಿದವು. ನೀನು ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡುವನು.
22ನೀವು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ತಾನೇ ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬದು.
