- 22ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಮೇಘದ ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಮಹಾಶಬ್ದ ದಿಂದಲೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಭೆಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಹೆಚ್ಚೇನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನು ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಎರಡು ಹಲಗೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

- 24ಇಗೋ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತ ನಾಡಲು ಅವರು ಬದುಕುತ್ತಾರೆಂದು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
- 25ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಈಗ ನಾವು ಯಾಕೆ ಸಾಯಬೇಕು? ಈ ಮಹಾಅಗ್ನಿಯು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವದು; ನಾವು ಇನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ ಸಾಯುತ್ತೇವೆ.
