ನೀವು ಬದುಕಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

- 3ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುಂದಿಸಿ ಹಸಿ ಯುವಂತೆ ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾತ್ರದಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಬದುಕುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಾಯಿ ಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮಾತಿ ನಿಂದಲೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಬದುಕುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ತಿಳಿಯದಂಥ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ತಿಳಿಯದಂಥ ಮನ್ನವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಉಣ್ಣಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
