ಆ ವಸ್ತ್ರವೂ ಕುದು ರೆಯೂ ಅರಸನ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಾದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ; ಅರಸನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ವನನ್ನು ಅವರು ಉಡಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕುದುರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹತ್ತಿಸಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ--ಅರಸನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವದು ಎಂದು ಸಾರಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

- 10ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಹಾಮಾನನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ತ್ವರೆಮಾಡಿ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಕುದುರೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನಾದ ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈಗೆ ಆ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡು. ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪಬಾರದು ಅಂದನು.
- 11ಆಗ ಹಾಮಾನನು ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಕುದು ರೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕುದುರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹತ್ತಿಸಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬೀದಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅರಸನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವದೆಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
