1. 1ಅಡಾರ್‌ ತಿಂಗಳೆಂಬ ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹದಿಮೂರನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನ ಮಾತೂ ಅವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸವಿಾ ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡುವೆವೆಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
2. 2ಅದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹ ಷ್ವೇರೋಷನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಹುಡುಕುವವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈ ಹಾಕಲು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆಗ ಅವರ ಭಯವು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುವವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
3. 3ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿ ಗಳೂ ಅರಸನ ಕೆಲಸದವರೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಮೊರ್ದೆ ಕೈಯ ಭಯ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದಿತು.
