ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ದಂಡಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದೇವದೂತನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಮೇಘಸ್ತಂಭವು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿತು.

- 19ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ದಂಡಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದೇವದೂತನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಮೇಘಸ್ತಂಭವು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿತು.
- 20ಅದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ದಂಡಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ದಂಡಿಗೂ ನಡುವೆ ಬಂದಿತು. ಅದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮೇಘವೂ ಕತ್ತಲೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕು ಕೊಡುವಂಥದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
- 21ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚಲಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಲವಾದ ಮೂಡಣ ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಒಣನೆಲವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಆಗ ನೀರುಗಳು ವಿಭಾಗವಾದವು.
