ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಎತ್ತು ಪುರುಷನನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಹಾದು ಕೊಂದರೆ ಆ ಎತ್ತನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕು ಅದರ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು. ಆದರೆ ಎತ್ತಿನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

- 29ಆದರೆ ಆ ಎತ್ತು ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದ ಹಾಯುವಂಥದ್ದೆಂದು ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅದು ಪುರುಷನನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಎತ್ತನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕು; ಅದರ ಯಜಮಾನನೂ ಸಾಯಬೇಕು.
- 30ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ನೇಮಿ ಸಿದರೆ ಅವನು ತನಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಿ.
