1. 2ಆರು ದಿನಗಳು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಆದರೆ ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧದಿನವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವವನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.
2. 3ನೀವು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಯಾವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯಾದರೂ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊತ್ತಿಸಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
3. 4ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಭೆಗೆಲ್ಲಾ-- ಕರ್ತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದು ಇದೇ. ಅದೇನಂದರೆ--
4. 5ಕರ್ತನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಮನಃಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕಾದವುಗಳು; ಚಿನ್ನ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆ
5. 6ನೀಲಿ, ಧೂಮ್ರ, ಕೆಂಪುವರ್ಣದ ನಯವಾದ ನಾರುಮಡಿ, ಮೇಕೆಯ ಕೂದಲು,
