ಈ ಮೂವರು ಅದರೊಳ ಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರು ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆ ಯರನ್ನಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸದೆ, ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ ತಾವು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು ಎಂದು ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವನು;

19ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನು ಆ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷ ವನ್ನು ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಿದು, ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ,
20ನೋಹ ದಾನಿ ಯೇಲ ಯೋಬ ಎಂಬವರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರು ಮಗನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮಗಳನ್ನಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸದೆ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವ ದಾಣೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು ಎಂದು ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
