3. 15ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನು ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಇಳಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಳಾಟ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವೆನು, ಅವನಿಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಅಗಾಧವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುವೆನು; ನಾನು ಅದರ ಪ್ರವಾಹವನ್ನು ತಡೆಹಿಡಿಯುವೆನು; ಮಹಾ ಜಲವು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವವು. ನಾನು ಲೆಬನೋನನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಗೋಳಾಡಿಸುವೆನು. ಬಯಲಿನ ಮರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋಗುವವು.
4. 16ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕುಣಿಗೆ ಇಳಿಯುವವರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅದು ಬಿದ್ದ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಡುಗಿದವು; ಅಧೋ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾಲಾದ ಏದೆನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳು, ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಉತ್ತಮೋತ್ತಮವಾದ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳು, ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುವವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೈಸಿ ಕೊಂಡವು.
