17ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳು ಹೀಗಿರಬೇಕು: ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂರಾ ಐವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ; ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂರಾ ಐವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ; ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂರಾ ಐವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ; ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂರಾ ಐವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ.
18ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಎದು ರಾಗಿರುವಂತದ್ದೂ ಉದ್ದದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದದ್ದೂ ಪೂರ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮೊಳವಾಗಿಯೂ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮೊಳವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಅದರ ಆದಾ ಯವು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗು ವಷ್ಟು ಇರಬೇಕು.
