ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ತೂಕದ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು.

- 31ನಾವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದ ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹವಾ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಟೆವು. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಹಸ್ತವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಕೈಗೂ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಂಡವರ ಕೈಗೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
- 32ನಾವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು ತರುವಾಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯೂ ಬಂಗಾರವೂ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕ ನಾಗಿರುವ ಊರೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮೆರೇಮೋತನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತೂಗಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
