ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ನೀತಿವಂತರಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದರೊಳಗಿರುವ ಆ ಐವತ್ತು ನೀತಿವಂತರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸದೆ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವಿಯೋ?

- 25ಆ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿ ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದು ನಿನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಹಾಗೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನಮಾಡುವದು ನಿನಗೆ ದೂರ ವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಭೂಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ರುವಾತನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡದೆ ಇರುವನೇ ಅಂದನು.
- 26ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು--ನನಗೆ ಸೊದೋಮ್‌ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗೆ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೊಸ್ಕರ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉಳಿಸುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
