ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಾರು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು--ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
Abrahaamanu aatana sangada innoo maatanaadi--ondu vele alli naalvattu mandi sikkaaru andanu. Adakke aatanu--naalvattu mandigoskara adannu naanu naashamaaduvadilla andanu.

- 28ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಐವತ್ತು ನೀತಿವಂತರಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಆ ಐದು ಮಂದಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವಿಯೋ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು--ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತೈದು ಮಂದಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದರೆ ನಾನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

- 30ಅವನು-- ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪಬಾರದೆ ಇರಲಿ; ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾ ಡುತ್ತೇನೆ--ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಾರು ಅಂದಾಗ ಆತನು--ನನಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದರೆ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
- 31ಅವನು--ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಾರು ಅಂದಾಗ ಆತನು-- ಆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
