ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟು ಹಣವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ ನನ್ನೂ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದುಹೋಗಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತರು.

14ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೇರೆ ಸಹೋದರ ನನ್ನೂ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಡುವಹಾಗೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಿ. ನಾನಂತೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿರಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
15ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟು ಹಣವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ ನನ್ನೂ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದುಹೋಗಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತರು.
16ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕಂಡಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಿಕನಿಗೆ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಕುರಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ದು ಅಡಿಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಊಟಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
17ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
