ಹೀಗೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು. ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಫರೋಹನ ದಾಸರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಹಿರಿಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ

5ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ನನಗೆ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಸಾಯುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಗೆದ ನನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗಿ ರುವದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
6ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನು--ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನೀನು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡು ಅಂದನು.
7ಹೀಗೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು. ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಫರೋಹನ ದಾಸರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಹಿರಿಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ
8ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದ ರರೂ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ಹೋದರು. ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿದನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗೋಷೆನ್‌ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
9ರಥಗಳೂ ರಾಹುತರೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು.ಆ ಸಮೂಹವು ಬಹಳ ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಗಿತ್ತು.
