1. 16ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ--ಆ ದಿನಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುವೆನು, ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆಯುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ಇದೇ.
2. 17ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೆಂದಿಗೂ ತರುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
3. 18ಪಾಪವು ಪರಿಹಾರವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಣೆ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
4. 19ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಯೇಸುವಿನ ರಕ್ತದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅತಿಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವುಂಟಾಯಿತು.
5. 20ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ, ಆತನು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಶರೀರವೆಂಬ ತೆರೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರವೇ ಇದಾಯಿತು.
