ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ಕೇಳಿದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲಾದರೂ ಜಾರಿ ಹೋದೇ ವೆಂದು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕೊಡುವವರಾಗಿ ರತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let [them] slip.
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೂತರ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅದನ್ನು ವಿಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ತಪ್ಪಿಗೂ ಅವಿಧೇಯತ್ವಕ್ಕೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ವಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಮೇಲೆ
For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
ಎಷ್ಟೋ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಈ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡಿದರೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ಹೇಗೆ? ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಮೊದಲು ಹೇಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು. ಆತನಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದವರು ಇದನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him];
ದೇವರು ಸಹ ಅವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಾನಾವಿಧವಾದ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಡಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದಾನಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
God also bearing [them] witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
ನಾವು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸುವ ಬರುವ ಆ ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಆತನು ದೂತರಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ.
For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಒಂದಾನೊಂದು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ--ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರದವನು? ಅವನನ್ನು ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ನೆನಸಬೇಕು? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನರಪುತ್ರನು ಎಷ್ಟರವನು? ಅವನನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ದರ್ಶಿಸಬೇಕು?
But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
ನೀನು ಅವನನ್ನು ದೂತರಿಗಿಂತ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೇ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ; ಪ್ರಭಾವ ವನ್ನೂ ಮಾನವನ್ನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಿರೀಟವಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಕೆಲಸಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೀ;
Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀಯಲ್ಲವೇ ಎಂದು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನಮಾಡಿದ ನೆಂಬದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಅಧೀನಮಾಡದೆ ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನವಾಗಿರು ವದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing [that is] not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
ಆದರೂ ದೂತರಿಗಿಂತ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಒಬ್ಬಾತನು ಅಂದರೆ ಯೇಸುವು, ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನೂ ಮಾನವನ್ನೂ ಕಿರೀಟವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವದನ್ನು ನಾವು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಆತನು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಮಾನ ಪ್ರಭಾವಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದನು; ಆತನು ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆ ಯಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮರ
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
ಸಮಸ್ತವು ಯಾವಾತನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಯಾವಾತನಿಂದಲೂ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತೋ ಆತನು ಬಹುಮಂದಿ ಪುತ್ರರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಭಾವಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ನಾಯಕನನ್ನು ಬಾಧೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತರುವದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
For it became him, for whom [are] all things, and by whom [are] all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡುವಾತನೂ ಪವಿತ್ರರಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಬ್ಬಾತನಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಹೋದರರೆಂದು ಕರೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡದೆ--
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified [are] all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವೆನು; ಸಭಾಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ತುತಿ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂತಲೂ
Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
ನಾನು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವೆನು ಎಂತಲೂ ತಿರಿಗಿ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನೂ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಎಂತಲೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ರಕ್ತಮಾಂಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಸಹ ಅವರಂತೆಯೇ ಆದನು; ತನ್ನ ಮರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಮರಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಸೈತಾನನನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
ಮರಣ ಭಯದ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಾಸತ್ವದೊಳಗಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರಂತೆ ರಕ್ತಮಾಂಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗ ವಹಿಸಿದನು.
And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
ಆತನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ದೂತರ ಸ್ವಭಾವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂತತಿಯ ಸ್ವಭಾವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
For verily he took not on [him the nature of] angels; but he took on [him] the seed of Abraham.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನ ವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಆತನು ಜನರ ಪಾಪಗಳಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಶಾಂತಿ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರುಣೆಯೂ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೂ ಉಳ್ಳ ಮಹಾ ಯಾಜಕನಾದನು.ತಾನೇ ಶೋಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಬಾಧೆ ಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಶೋಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡು ವವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto [his] brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things [pertaining] to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
ತಾನೇ ಶೋಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಬಾಧೆ ಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಶೋಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡು ವವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
