- 18ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯು ನಿರ್ಬಲವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಷ್ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ರದ್ದಾಗಿಹೋಯಿತು.

- 21(ಆ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಆಣೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕರಾದರು); ಈತನಾದರೊ--ನೀನು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಮೆಲ್ಕಿಜೆದೇಕನ ತರಹದ ಯಾಜಕನಾಗಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ನುಡಿದನು, ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
- 22ಇದರಿಂದಲೇ ಯೇಸು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರನಾದನು.
