ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದಿಂದ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ಪದವಿಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಎಳೆದುಬಿಡುವೆನು.

Ninnannu ninna udyogadinda tallibiduvenu. Ninna padaviyinda ninnannu kelage eledubiduvenu.

17ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಲವಾದ ಬಂಧನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಿಡಿದೇ ಹಿಡಿಯು ವನು.
18ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೆಂಡಿನಂತೆ ಸುತ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಸಾಡುವನು. ಅಲ್ಲೆ ನೀನು ಸಾಯುವಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ವೈಭವದ ರಥಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಧಣಿಯ ಮನೆಗೆ ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವವು.
19ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದಿಂದ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ಪದವಿಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಎಳೆದುಬಿಡುವೆನು.
20ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನೂ ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಕೀಮನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು,
21ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತೊಡಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿ ನಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನೆತನದವರಿಗೂ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವನು.
