ಹುಲ್ಲು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗು ವದು ಹೂವು ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುವದು. ಕರ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮ ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಊದುವನು; ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಜನರು ಹುಲ್ಲೇ.
Hullu onagi hogu vadu hoovu baadihoguvadu. Kartana aatma avugala mele ooduvanu; nishchayavaagi janaru hulle.

- 5ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವರು ಕರ್ತನ ಬಾಯಿಯೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದದೆ ಎಂದು ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕೂಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
- 6ವಾಣಿಯು ಕೂಗು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವನು--ನಾನು ಏನು ಕೂಗಲಿ ಅನ್ನಲು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನರಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕರ್ತನ ಶ್ವಾಸವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಸುವದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಲಾವಣ್ಯವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಲದ ಹೂವಿನಂತಿದೆ.
- 7ಹುಲ್ಲು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗು ವದು ಹೂವು ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುವದು. ಕರ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮ ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಊದುವನು; ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಜನರು ಹುಲ್ಲೇ.
- 8ಹುಲ್ಲು ಒಣಗಿಹೋಗುವದು ಹೂವು ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುವದು. ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಸದಾಕಾಲ ನಿಲ್ಲುವದು ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರವಾಯಿತು.
- 9ಶುಭಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಓ ಚೀಯೋನೇ, ನೀನು ಉನ್ನತಪರ್ವತವನ್ನು ಏರು; ಶುಭಸಮಾ ಚಾರವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಓ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ಬಲವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತು, ಭಯಪಡದೆ ಎತ್ತು; ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು.
