ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ --ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಸಮುವೇಲನೂ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತರೂ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಈ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಡು; ಅವರು ಹೋಗಲಿ.
Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, [yet] my mind [could] not [be] toward this people: cast [them] out of my sight, and let them go forth.
ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ--ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, ನೀನು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಇರುವವರು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ; ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ಇರುವವರು ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ; ಕ್ಷಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಇರುವವರು ಕ್ಷಾಮಕ್ಕೆ, ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಇರು ವವರು ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as [are] for death, to death; and such as [are] for the sword, to the sword; and such as [are] for the famine, to the famine; and such as [are] for the captivity, to the captivity.
ಕರ್ತನು--ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ತರವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹರಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.
ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ಇವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಚದರಿಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for [that] which he did in Jerusalem.
ಓ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾರೂ ಕನಿಕರಪಡುವರು? ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಾರು ದುಃಖಿಸುವರು? ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ಷೇಮವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರು ಸವಿಾಪ ಬರುವರು?
For who shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask how thou doest?
ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನೀನು ಹಿಂಜರಿ ದಿದ್ದೀ, ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಚಾಚಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪ ಪಡುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ದಣಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.
ಅವರನ್ನು ಮೊರದಿಂದ ದೇಶದ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೂರುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗ ಮಾಡಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ
And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave [them] of children, I will destroy my people, [since] they return not from their ways.
ಅವರ ವಿಧವೆಗಳು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮರಳಿಗಿಂತ ನನಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದರು. ನಾನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಯದವರ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶನ ಮಾಡು ವವನನ್ನು ತರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಪಕ್ಕನೆ ಅವನು ಅವಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು, ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused [him] to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.
ಏಳು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತವಳು ಕುಂದುತ್ತಾಳೆ; ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ; ಹಗಲಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಅವಳ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಅಸ್ತಮಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವಳು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ; ಅವಮಾನ ಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರ ಶೇಷವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.
She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while [it was] yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.
ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯೇ, ನನಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಾರನಾಗಿಯೂ ತರ್ಕದವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಹೆತ್ತಿದ್ದೀಯಲ್ಲಾ? ನಾನು ಬಡ್ಡಿಗೆ ಸಾಲ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಬಡ್ಡಿಗಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಸಾಲ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; [yet] every one of them doth curse me.
ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ --ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಶೇಷಕ್ಕೆ ಅದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ದಾಗಿರುವದು; ಕೇಡಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುವನ್ನು ನಿನ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ?
The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee [well] in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
ಕಬ್ಬಿ ಣವು ಉತ್ತರದ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನೂ ಉಕ್ಕನ್ನೂ ಮುರಿಯ ಬಲ್ಲದೇ?
Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?
ನಿನ್ನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕ್ರಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವೆನು.
Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and [that] for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.
ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗ ಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹತ್ತಿದೆ, ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಯುವದು.
And I will make [thee] to pass with thine enemies into a land [which] thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, [which] shall burn upon you.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನೇ ಬಲ್ಲೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ನನಗೋ ಸ್ಕರ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸು; ನಿನ್ನ ದೀರ್ಘ ಶಾಂತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಾನು ಗದರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವೆನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ.
O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
ನಿನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದವು, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸವೂ ಸಂತೋಷವೂ ಆಗಿತ್ತು; ಓ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
ನಾನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಗಾರರ ಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಉತ್ಸಾಹಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದೀ.
I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.
ಏಕೆ ನನ್ನ ನೋವು ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಗಾಯವು ವಾಸಿಯಾಗಲೊ ಲ್ಲದೆಯೂ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥವಾಗದೆಯೂ ಇದೆ? ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ನೀರು ಬತ್ತುವ ಕಳ್ಳ ತೊರೆಯಂತೆಯೂ ಸ್ಥಿರ ವಿಲ್ಲದ ನೀರಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಇರಬೇಕೋ.
Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, [which] refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, [and as] waters [that] fail?
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು -- ನೀನು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ತರುವೆನು; ಆಗ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುವಿ; ನೀನು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀಚವಾದದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಹಾಗಿರುವಿ; ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಲಿ, ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಬೇಡ.
Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, [and] thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಈ ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲವಾದ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಗೋಡೆಯಾಗಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವರು, ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಲಾರರು; ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.ಕೆಟ್ಟವರ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I [am] with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
ಕೆಟ್ಟವರ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.
