ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿರಿ; ತೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಅವುಗಳ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಿರಿ; ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಕುಮಾರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಿರಿ;

Manegalannu katti vaasamaadiri; totagalannu nettu avugala phalavannu tinniri; hendatiyarannu takkondu kumaara kumaarteyarannu padeyiri;

4ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ತಾನು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಾಗಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--
5ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿರಿ; ತೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಅವುಗಳ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಿರಿ; ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಕುಮಾರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಿರಿ;
6ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕುಮಾರರಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನು ಪುರಷರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಿರಿ, ಅವರು ಕುಮಾರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನು ಹೆರಲಿ; ಹೀಗೆ ನೀವು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗದೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರಿ.
7ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ; ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಅದರ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾ ಧಾನವಾಗುವದು.
