ಹಾನಾನನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಕೊಠಡಿಗೆ ತಂದು ರೇಕಾಬ್ಯರ ಮನೆಯ ಕುಮಾರರ ಮುಂದೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ತುಂಬಿದ ಕೂಜೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಂಚಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಟ್ಟು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ಕುಡಿಯಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
Haanaanana kumaarara kothadige tandu rekaabyara maneya kumaarara munde draakshaarasa tumbida koojegalannoo panchapaatregalannoo ittu avarige--draakshaarasa kudiyiri andanu.

- 6ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಾವು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ರೇಕಾಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋನಾದಾಬನು ನಮಗೆ ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಏನಂದರೆ--ನೀವಾದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾ ದರೂ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯ ಬೇಡಿರಿ;
- 7ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಬೇಡಿರಿ; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅಂಥದ್ದು ನಿಮಗಿರಬಾರದು; ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಪರಕೀಯರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
