1. 25ಹೀಗಾದರೂ ಎಲ್ನಾಥಾ ನನೂ ದೆಲಾಯನೂ ಗೆಮರ್ಯನೂ ಆ ಸುರಳಿಯು ಸುಡಲ್ಪಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಬಿನ್ನಹ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
2. 26ಅರಸನು ಎರಖ್ಮೆಯೆಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆರೆಮ್ಮೇಲನಿಗೂ ಅಜ್ರಿ ಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೆರಾಯನಿಗೂ ಅಬ್ದೆಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಲೆಮ್ಯನಿಗೂ ಲೇಖಕನಾದ ಬಾರೂಕ ನನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿಯ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸಿದನು.
3. 27ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಆ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬಾರೂಕನು ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸುಟ್ಟಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
4. 28ನೀನು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನು ಸುಟ್ಟ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಸುರಳಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮುಂಚಿನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆ.
5. 29ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ--ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುವದು ಖಂಡಿತ ಎಂದು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಕೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ನೀನು ಈ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ.
