1. 4ಆಗ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನು ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
2. 5ಫರೋಹನ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಿತು; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರು ಅದರ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದರು.
3. 6ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--
4. 7ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟ ಫರೋಹನ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಅದರ ಸ್ವದೇಶವಾದ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗುವದು.
5. 8ಕಸ್ದೀಯರು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡುವರು.
