ಈಗ ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಬೇಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ದಿವಸ ತೆಗೆಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದೆಂದು ತೋಚಿದರೆ ಬಾ. ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು; ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದೆಂದು ತೋಚಿದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಡು. ಇಗೋ ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅದೆ; ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೆಂದೂ ಸರಿಯೆಂದೂ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗು ಅಂದನು.

- 5ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನು ಇನ್ನು ಹಿಂತಿ ರುಗದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ನೆಬೂಜರದಾನನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೋ, ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡು; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಕಾವಲಿನವರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನೂ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
- 6ಯೆರೆ ವಿಾಯನು ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಿಚ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದ ಜನರ ಸಂಗಡ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದನು.
