2. 2ಆಗ ನೆತನ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ ದರು.
3. 3ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಿಚ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರನ್ನೂ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
4. 4ಅವನು ಗೆದಲ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯದಿರುವಾಗ
