ಹೌದು, ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೀಗಾಗುವದು; ಅವರು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿ ಂದಲೂ ಕ್ಷಾಮದಿಂದಲೂ ಜಾಡ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಸಾಯು ವರು; ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವ ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಉಳಿಯುವವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

- 15ಈಗ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಶೇಷವೇ, ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನೀವು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ನೀವು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರೆ,
- 16ಆಗ ಆಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ --ನೀವು ಭಯಪಡುವ ಕತ್ತಿಯು ಆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವದು; ನೀವು ಹೆದರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕ್ಷಾಮವು ಆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವದು, ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಸಾಯುವಿರಿ.
- 17ಹೌದು, ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೀಗಾಗುವದು; ಅವರು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿ ಂದಲೂ ಕ್ಷಾಮದಿಂದಲೂ ಜಾಡ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಸಾಯು ವರು; ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವ ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಉಳಿಯುವವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
- 18ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವೂ ನನ್ನ ಉರಿಯೂ ಹೇಗೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀವು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಉರಿಯು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಯ್ಯಲ್ಪ ಡುವದು; ನೀವು ಅಸಹ್ಯವೂ ವಿಸ್ಮಯವೂ ಶಾಪವೂ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ಆಗುವಿರಿ; ಈ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿರುಗಿ ನೋಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
- 19ಯೆಹೂದದ ಶೇಷವೇ, ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇ ನೆಂದು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮೋಸಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ;
