- 6ಅಂದರೆ ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯ ರನ್ನೂ ಕಾವಲಿನವರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ನೆಬೂಜರದಾ ನನು ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಿಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನೂ ನೇರೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರೂಕನನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.
- 7ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ತಹಪನೇಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
- 8ಆಗ ತಹಪನೇಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಯೆರೆವಿಾ ಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
- 9ಹೇಗಂದರೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತಹಪನೇಸಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಫರೋಹನ ಮನೆಯ ಪ್ರವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಭಟ್ಟಿಯ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
