ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ನೀವು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

- 4ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ಓ, ನಾನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವ ಈ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲೇ ಬೇಡಿರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
