ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟವರೂ ಅದರ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿವಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರೂ ಬೀಳುವರು.

- 5ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾದ ಪಾಪದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಾದರೂ ಯೆಹೂದವಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದಲ್ಲ.
- 6ಬಾಬೆಲಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ, ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ; ಅದರ ಅಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶವಾಗ ಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಇದು ಕರ್ತನ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯ ಕಾಲವು; ಆತನೇ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆಮುಯ್ಯಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
