ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅಗಲವಾದ ಗೋಡೆಗಳು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪ ಡುವವು; ಅವಳ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿ ಯಿಂದ ಸುಡಲ್ಪಡುವವು; ಜನರು ವ್ಯರ್ಥಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ಆಯಾಸ ಪಡುವರು.
