3ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
4ಯೇಸು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ--ಈ ರೋಗವು ಮರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ದೇವಕುಮಾರನು ಅದರಿಂದ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
