ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲವೇ ಬೆಳಕು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರು ತ್ತದೆ. ಕತ್ತಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಸುಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಡೆಯಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವವನು ತಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯನು.

- 35ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲವೇ ಬೆಳಕು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರು ತ್ತದೆ. ಕತ್ತಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಸುಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಡೆಯಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವವನು ತಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯನು.
- 36ನೀವು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ನಂಬಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಯೇಸು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಅವರಿಂದ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡನು.
- 37ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಅನೇಕ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ.
