ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಇದ್ದರೂ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವನು ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸು ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವದು ಹೇಗೆ?
Yesu avanige--philippane, naanu nimma sangada ishtu kaala iddaroo neenu nannannu tiliyalillavo? Nannannu nodidavanu tandeyannu nodiddaane; haagaadare tandeyannu namage torisu endu neenu heluvadu hege?

- 9ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಇದ್ದರೂ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವನು ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸು ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವದು ಹೇಗೆ?
- 10ನಾನು ತಂದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಂದೆಯು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ನಂಬುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇ ಮಾತನಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ತಂದೆಯೇ ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
- 11ನಾನು ತಂದೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇನೆಂತಲೂ ತಂದೆಯು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂತಲೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಂಬಿರಿ. ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಆ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಂಬಿರಿ.
