ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಮತ್ತು ತಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ ಶಿಷ್ಯನು ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಯೇಸು ನೋಡಿ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ--ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನು ಅಂದನು.

- 26ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಮತ್ತು ತಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ ಶಿಷ್ಯನು ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಯೇಸು ನೋಡಿ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ--ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನು ಅಂದನು.
- 27ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಆ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಅಂದನು. ಆ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಆ ಶಿಷ್ಯನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
- 28ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಪೂರೈಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬರಹವು ನೆರವೇರು ವಂತೆ--ನನಗೆ ನೀರಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದನು.
