ನಾನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದವು ತುಳಿಯುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.

1ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆ ಸತ್ತ ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ನೂನನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ--
2ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಸತ್ತನು; ಈಗ ನೀನು ಈ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು.
3ನಾನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದವು ತುಳಿಯುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.
4ಅರಣ್ಯವೂ ಈ ಲೆಬನೋನೂ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಯೂಫ್ರೇಟೀಸ್‌ ಮಹಾನದಿಯ ವರೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರ ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಅಸ್ತಮಿಸುವ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮಹಾಸಮುದ್ರದ ವರೆಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇರೆಯಾಗಿರುವದು.
5ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಜೀವಿಸುವ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯಾವನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಾರನು. ನಾನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವೆನು. ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊರೆಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
