ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಾಡಿ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪಾಲು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.

- 6ಯೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದರು. ಆಗ ಕೆನೆಜ್ಜೀಯನೂ ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಕಾಲೇಬನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕಾದೇಶ್‌ ಬರ್ನೇಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೀನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ;
- 7ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪಾಳತಿ ನೋಡಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾದೇಶ್‌ ಬರ್ನೇಯದಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಾನು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದವನಾಗಿದ್ದೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಮಾತನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದೆನು.
