- 3ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಕ್ಕೆ ಯಪ್ಲೇಟ್ಯರ ಮೇರೆಗೂ ಕೆಳಗಡೆ ಯಾದ ಬೇತ್‌ಹೋರೋನ್‌ ಮೇರೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಗೆಜೆರಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಗಿಯುವದು.
- 4ಹೀಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮರು ತಮಗೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯ ವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು.

- Judges 1:22–26 ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು 1:22–26ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆಯವರು ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದನು. ಆದರೆ ಮೊದಲು ಲೂಜ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿದ್ದ ಬೇತೇಲೆಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಪಾಳತಿ ನೋಡಲು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆಯವರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. ಪಾಳತಿಯವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸು; ನಾವು ನಿನಗೆ ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸುವೆವು ಅಂದರು. ಅವನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಬಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಲೂಜ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು. ಈ ವರೆಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅದೇ ಹೆಸರು.
