ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
Aaga yehoshuvanu israayel makkalige--neevu illige bandu nimma devaraada kartana vaakyagalannu keliri andanu.

- 8ನೀನು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊರುವ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ--ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ನೀರಿನ ಅಂಚಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು ಅಂದನು.
- 9ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 10ಯೆಹೋಶು ವನು--ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರು ವದನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರು ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರು ಹಿವ್ವಿಯರು ಪೆರಿಜೀಯರು ಗಿರ್ಗಾಷಿಯರು ಅಮೋರಿಯರು ಯೊಬೂಸಿಯರು ಇವರನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವದನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ
- 11ಇಗೋ, ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುವದು.
