ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ತಂದು ತಾವು ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ದರು.

- 8ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ತಂದು ತಾವು ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ದರು.
- 9ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತ ಯಾಜಕರ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು. ಅವು ಈ ದಿನದ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇವೆ.
