ಅವನು ಯೂದನ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಕರೆದಾಗ ಜೆರಹನ ಗೋತ್ರವು ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಜೆರಹನ ಗೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಕರೆದಾಗ ಜಬ್ದೀಯು ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.

- 17ಅವನು ಯೂದನ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಕರೆದಾಗ ಜೆರಹನ ಗೋತ್ರವು ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಜೆರಹನ ಗೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಕರೆದಾಗ ಜಬ್ದೀಯು ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.
- 18ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಅವನು ಹೆಸರುಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಕರೆದಾಗ ಯೂದನ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಜೆರಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜಬ್ದೀಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕರ್ವಿಾಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಕಾನನು ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.
- 19ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆಕಾನನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನೀನು ಈಗ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡು; ಏನು ಮಾಡಿದಿಯೋ ಅದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು; ನನಗೆ ಮರೆಮಾಡಬೇಡ ಅಂದನು.
