ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಲೂಜ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು. ಈ ವರೆಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅದೇ ಹೆಸರು.

- 25ಅವನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಬಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
- 26ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಲೂಜ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು. ಈ ವರೆಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅದೇ ಹೆಸರು.
- 27ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯವರು ಬೇತ್‌ಷೆಯಾನ್‌ ತಾನಾಕ್‌ ದೋರ್‌ ಇಬ್ಲೆಯಾಮ್‌ ಮೆಗಿದ್ದೋ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರು ಆ ಪ್ರಾಂತ ಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೃಢಮಾಡಿದರು.
- 28ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಬಲಗೊಂಡಾಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಡದೆ ಕಪ್ಪಕೊಡಲು ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
