ನಫ್ತಾಲ್ಯರು ಬೇತ್‌ಷೆಮೆಷಿನ ವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬೇತ ನಾತಿನ ವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಡದೆ ಆ ದೇಶ ವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಬೇತ್‌ಷೆಮೆಷ್‌ ಬೇತನಾತನ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಸಿಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪಕೊಡುವವರಾದರು.

- 35ತಾವು ಹರ್‌ಹೆರೆಸ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಯ್ಯಾಲೋನಿ ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಶಾಲ್ಬೀಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆಯವರ ಕೈ ಭಾರವಾದದ್ದ ರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪಕೊಡುವವರಾದರು.ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಮೇರೆಯು ಅಕ್ರಬ್ಬೀಮು ಹಿಡಿದು ಬಂಡೆಯಿಂದ ಮೇಲ್ಗಡೆಗೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವದಾಗಿತ್ತು.
