3. 18ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಎದೋಮ್‌ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಮೋವಾಬ್‌ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಮೋವಾಬ್‌ ದೇಶದ ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಮೇರೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸದೆ ಮೋವಾ ಬಿನ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ಅರ್ನೋನಿನ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳು ಕೊಂಡರು.
4. 19ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾ ದಂಥ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು--ನನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಾವು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದರು.
5. 20ಆದರೆ ಸೀಹೋ ನನು ತನ್ನ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ನಂಬದೆ ತನ್ನ ಜನವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಯಹಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
