ಆಗ ಅವನು--ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳು ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಗೆಳತಿ ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಕನ್ಯಾಭಾವಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತ್ತು,

Aaga avanu--eradu tingalu hogi baa endu heli avalannu kaluhisibittanu. Avalu tanna gelati yara sangada hogi tanna kanyaabhaavakkoskara bettagala mele attu,

36ಅವಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಕರ್ತನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡು ಅಂದಳು.
37ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ --ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಆಗಲಿ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಗೆಳತಿಯರೊಡನೆ ನನ್ನ ಕನ್ಯಾಭಾವಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಗೋಳಾಡುವಂತೆ ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡು ಅಂದಳು.
38ಆಗ ಅವನು--ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳು ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಗೆಳತಿ ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಕನ್ಯಾಭಾವಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತ್ತು,
399ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳು ತೀರಿದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಳು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವಳು ಪುರುಷನನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದಳು.ವರುಷಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿವಸ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರು ಹೋಗಿ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ಯನಾದ ಯೆಪ್ತಾಹನ ಮಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಗೋಳಾಡುವದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಆಯಿತು.
40ವರುಷಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿವಸ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರು ಹೋಗಿ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ಯನಾದ ಯೆಪ್ತಾಹನ ಮಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಗೋಳಾಡುವದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಆಯಿತು.
