ಆದರೆ ನೂನನ ಮಗನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ನೂರ ಹತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದವನಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತನು.

- 7ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಸಕಲ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡಂಥ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ತರು ವಾಯ ಬದುಕಿದ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಕಲ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜನರು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿದರು.
- 8ಆದರೆ ನೂನನ ಮಗನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ನೂರ ಹತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದವನಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
- 9ಅವನನ್ನು ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮಿನ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಷ್‌ ಪರ್ವತದ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವನ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ತಿಮ್ನತ್‌ಹೆರೆಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು.
- 10ಆ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರ ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆತನ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇರುವ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಸಂತತಿ ಎದ್ದಿತು.
